This is a great, cheap go-to spot for $4 tacos and $9 margaritas. I’ve frequented their East Village location many times and have never walked away with a bill more than $25 pp. Free chips and salsa when you come in and sit down too. Cool LA vibes and memorabilia, great spot to watch an LA game for any playoff event (if you can get a seat - show up early…very early). Worth it!

Very much a what you see is what you get taqueria. Tacos are very solid for their price with lots of variety. Margaritas taste like a $9 margarita but that’s a steal around here. Would recommend but keep expectations where they should be.

I went here with a work colleague for the first time for lunch and we were pleasantly surprised. The food was quickly brought out and it was delicious. 2-3 tacos and a side of rice and beans were definitively enough and these were some of the best taco prices I’ve seen. We will be back for their happy hour specials too!

same owners of taqueria st marks. best mexican food in nyc at great prices. go for hh $7 margs this location has an outside section to sit and eat unlike the st marks location!

This is the best Mexican food I have had in the city. This place has been a go to since they were in the LES years ago. The place prides itself in real Mexican cuisine not the American Tex Mex or to go alternative. The food is fresh and made to order and the choices are amazing. It has more adventurous choices for tacos as well if you're into that. The guacamole is made fresh to order. Everything here is so damn good.

For starters nothing beats the picadillo tacos!They are just too good not to get and it goes soo good with the hibiscus margarita 😌 really everyone’s favorite.

I’ve come here multiple times and they never disappoint. This place is the real deal. All the tacos are tasty I recommend the Steak! (Spicy) but soo good, the Lamb, and Pork too. The chips are super fresh crunchy and salty. The salsa is one of the best I’ve ever had, lots of flavor in all the food. Also a warm vibe and decor, major props for the 90’s music choice. 🌮

Was not even good disappointed In the food horchata is supposed to like the picture I provided one I had here was bland and tasted bad but you get for 2 bucks and the food hardly any meat on the torta had like 4 pieces of steak this place is a bad place for a Mexican restaurant. The cooks if you are Mexican disappointed.
